Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet. We will not sell your information to anyone.
Refunds: All refunds will be provided as a credit to the credit card used at the time of the transaction.

You will notice that your water bill looks a little different. The description and amount of your charges will now be broken down as indicated below.
If you use 6,800 gallons and your water bill is $81.83, the bill will be broken down as follows:

Credit Card Payment by Phone:
Pay your water bill on the phone, at your convenience, through our automated bill payment feature using this phone number (325) 203-4041. Our automated phone service accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. You will need your 8 digit account number (including all leading zeros) and the zip code for your service address. For security reasons, on October 31, 2013, we will no longer take credit card payments on our main phone line.
Online Bill Pay Thru Our Website
Click on Pay Your Bill Now button on this page to be redirected to our Website where you can pay your bill online 24/7. Through the website you will be able to make a one time payment (Quick Pay) or recurring payments with your credit card. All you will need is your 8 digit account number (with all leading zeros) and billing zip code to register for this feature. If you decide to use recurring payments with you credit card, you will need to register for an online account under Bill Payment. Your credit card will be charged $5.00 to verify that your card is valid. If valid, the $5.00 will be credited to your water account.
BSUD customers will need to update and maintain their own online payment preferences, including expiration dates or new credit card numbers.
If a payment is rejected, the system will automatically send you an email informing you that you need to update your credit card information. If this occurs the system will cancel your recurring payments from your credit card and you will then need to reset recurring payments back up in your online profile.
*Your 8 digit account number will be located on the top left corner of your bill.
*Please be aware that if you are using an online service other than through our website to pay your water bill you need to allow 7-10 business days for your payment to reach us through the mail. Payments are posted to your account on the day they are received in the office.
Payments By Mail
If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment stub. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five to seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.
Automatic Bank Draft
The worry-free way to pay your water bill. With this service, the amount of your monthly bill is automatically deducted from your bank account and credited to your utility account. There is no set-up fee or charge associated with this method of payment. To set up Automated Bank Draft, simply download and fill out the ACH Recurring Debit Form (if available) located in the Forms & Reports Section and drop it off or mail it to our office, along with a voided check.
Payments at the Office
You may pay your bill in person at our office address at 1100 County Road 554, Brownwood, TX.
Cash, Check and Money Orders are received at the BSUD office during normal business hours, please include your payment stub to ensure your payment is credited to the correct address.
Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted in the office and payments will be processed through the card reader.
NIGHT DROP is available if you would like to pay after hours. You may leave your check or money order along with your payment stub in our night drip box that is located next to the front door. DO NOT LEAVE CASH!
Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay
Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information. Payments are posted to your account on the day they are received in the office.
